MATERIALS

• 1 grapevine wreath (available at craft stores)
• faux boxwood picks
• faux eucalyptus picks
• extra faux filler greenery
• faux flowers in complementary color palette, i.e. ranunculus, peonies, roses, hydrangeas
• faux baby’s breath picks
• green floral wire
• thick jute twine

DIRECTIONS

1. Separate the greenery picks from the florals. Beginning at between 9 o’clock and 10 o’clock on the wreath, insert a piece of greenery.
2. Working your way down, insert flowers into the gaps in the wreath, securing stems with floral wire as needed. Don’t worry about the wire showing; since it’s green it will blend in with the other greenery.
3. Alternate the flowers, so that a random pattern forms. Don’t aim for perfection! The wreath should look natural and the placement casual.
4. Finish inserting flowers at around the 3 o’clock mark.
5. Insert greenery stems throughout the flowers, making sure to fill any gaps. You may need to rearrange flowers as you go. There is no right or wrong as far as the arrangement–stop when it looks right to you.
6. Fill in baby’s breath between flowers.
7. Once all stems are inserted in the wreath, secure any loose pieces with floral wire.
8. Tie a 6-inch piece of jute twine at the top with a knot. This is to hang the wreath. You may alter the length of the twine based on how low you want the wreath to hang.
9. Choose a place to hang your wreath, such a your front door, and watch the neighbors stare in awe!
