Classic Pico De Gallo

Pico de gallo is a fun and easy dish to make for guests or yourself! It’s also a great way to keep cool on those warmer summer evenings when it might be too hot to turn on the stove or oven.

CLASSIC PICO DE GALLO

INGREDIENTS

  • diced cherry tomatoes
  • diced purple onion (tomato + onion should have 1:1 ratio)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • juice of 1 lime
  • chili flakes (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium sized bowl, gently combine diced tomatoes, diced onions, cilantro, and lime juice.
  2. Add chili flakes and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. If possible, leave in fridge to marinate overnight to better marry the flavors, otherwise immediately enjoy with chips!
